Football Game Preview: Half Moon Bay Cougars vs. Terra Nova Tigers + How To Watch

The Half Moon Bay Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Terra Nova Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Half Moon Bay got the win against Hillsdale by a conclusive 35-13. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Terra Nova waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Titans 24-7.

Half Moon Bay better keep an eye on Joey Donati. He was instrumental in Terra Nova's win, rushing for 122 yards on only seven carries, while also throwing for 137 yards and two TDs. Those 122 rushing yards gave Donati a new career-high. Terra Nova also got a significant boost from Elijah Ramirez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.

Terra Nova was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 263 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Half Moon Bay's record now sits at 6-3. As for Terra Nova, their record is now 7-2.

Half Moon Bay was able to grind out a solid victory over Terra Nova in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 16-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
