Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Warriors vs. Scott Skyhawks

The Riverside Warriors will take on the Scott Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Riverside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season.

Riverside is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 3rd on Saturday. They were beaten by Woodrow Wilson 88-48. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Flying Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the loss, Riverside saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bryer Mullins went 8-for-20 to rack up 21 points and three steals. Mullins' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Brycen Slack was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Scott got the win against Point Pleasant on Saturday by a conclusive 56-36. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Scott now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
