Volleyball Recap: Gooding Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gooding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Buhl Indians, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Gooding took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.

Gooding's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Buhl, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14.

Gooding and Buhl could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings. The Senators will take on Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (122 vs. 21). Meanwhile, Buhl (ranked 91st) will meet Hagerman (ranked 32nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
