Volleyball Recap: Chisholm Comes Up Short

Chisholm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dewey Bulldoggers. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldoggers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Chisholm now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Dewey, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chisholm and Dewey will both be playing Wright Christian the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will host the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Bulldoggers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
