Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowie). They breezed by Harmony Science Academy to the tune of 57-24 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-11.

Despite the loss, Harmony Science Academy still got an impressive performance from Miranda Urquidi-Sauceda, who almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, nine boards, and ten steals. The match was Urquidi-Sauceda's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Bowie is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Harmony Science Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowie will square off against Harmony School of Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harmony Science Academy, they will face off against Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
