Softball Recap: Gila Ridge Wins Going Away Against San Luis

Gila Ridge never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the San Luis Sidewinders. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Sidewinders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Malina Peterson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.
