Baseball Recap: Stoney Creek Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Stoney Creek came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets on Tuesday. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Winston Soliven was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Luca Passalacqua was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Stoney Creek's victory bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Detroit Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
