Volleyball Game Preview: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Sierra Canyon Trailblazers

After both having extra time off, the Temecula Valley Golden Bears and the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Temecula Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Oaks Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Bears.

Meanwhile, Sierra Canyon made easy work of Bishop Alemany two weeks ago and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trailblazers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won nine in a row.

Sierra Canyon walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-12.

Sierra Canyon's win bumped their record up to 36-3. As for Temecula Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 19-3.

Temecula Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Sierra Canyon in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Golden Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
