Volleyball Recap: Wellington's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Wellington came into Saturday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Sunset Knights by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Michael Swiderski paced Wellington's offense, picking up six kills. Swiderski got some help from Ryan Rojas and his 12 assists.

Wellington's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Sunset, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellington will face off against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Wellington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sunset, they will challenge True North Classical Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
