Basketball Game Preview: Hardee Wildcats vs. Northeast Vikings

Having just played yesterday, the Hardee Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Northeast Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hardee, who comes in off a win.

Hardee will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Avon Park, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Hardee came out on top against Avon Park by a score of 46-36 on Monday. The Wildcats pushed the score to 41-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils cut but never quite recovered from.

Alexandra Jackson went supernova for Hardee, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 18 boards. The dominant performance gave Jackson a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Tylia Graham, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-38 defeat at the hands of Largo. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-12.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hardee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
