Softball Recap: Raymond Falls Short Against Ranked St. Thomas Aquinas

Raymond faced St. Thomas Aquinas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Rams came up short against the Saints, falling 13-1. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost seven in a row.

Raymond saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dinkenesh Levesque, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Raymond's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 17-0-1.

Coming up, Raymond will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hillsboro-Deering at 4:00 p.m. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will head out to take on Prospect Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Saints 1.2, the Timberwolves 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
