Basketball Recap: Inter-City Baptist Comes Up Short

After flying high against Allen Park last Friday, Inter-City Baptist came back down to earth. The Inter-City Baptist Chargers took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huron Chiefs on Friday. The Chargers lost against the Chiefs in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-26 score last time.

Inter-City Baptist now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Huron, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

When Inter-City Baptist and Huron next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Inter-City Baptist will try to stop Carlson's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Similarly, Huron will take on Whiteford and their three-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
