Softball Recap: Darien Blue Wave vs. Warde Mustangs
Darien proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Warde Mustangs get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Blue Wave were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Mustangs, so the Blue Wave were just returning the favor.

The result came thanks to Vivian Knott's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 19 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
