Soccer Recap: Ketchikan's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Houston on April 5th, Ketchikan came back down to earth. The Kings fell just short of the Kenai Central Kardinals by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Ketchikan were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kenai Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Ketchikan's goal came courtesy of Richard Evison, who's now up to five this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ketchikan fell to 2-1. As for Kenai Central, their record now sits at 2-0-1.

Ketchikan didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Grace Christian on the 24th. As for Kenai Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Kodiak on the 24th.
