Softball Recap: Parkwood Wolf Pack vs. Monroe Redhawks

Parkwood put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They never let the Monroe Redhawks onto the board and left with an 18-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Parkwood as they're now sitting on three straight.

Chloe Purgason made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Purgason was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Amanda Leibowitz was a standout: she went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Geneva Yow, who went 1-for-2 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs.
