Volleyball Recap: John Glenn Comes Up Short

John Glenn lost against River View back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Little Muskies came up short against the Black Bears, falling 3-0. The Little Muskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John Glenn took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.

Blair Briggs paced John Glenn's offense, picking up seven kills. Briggs got some help from Brelynn Barr and her 11 assists. Olivia Marshall controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

River View found their leader in sophomore Lindyn Fry, who had eight digs and three aces.

John Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for River View, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

John Glenn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Morgan on the 28th. As for River View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Tri-Valley on the 28th.
