Baseball Game Preview: Ripley Warriors vs. Pawhuska Huskies

The Ripley Warriors will challenge the Pawhuska Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Ripley knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Pawhuska likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Ripley got the win against Davenport by a conclusive 13-6. Considering the Warriors have won 12 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Pawhuska came up short against Dewey on Friday, falling 15-6.

Pawhuska saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Cass, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Jenson Snodgrass also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Pawhuska has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Ripley, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.
