Softball Game Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Taft Toreadors

The Cleveland Cavaliers will challenge the Taft Toreadors at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Cleveland and six for Taft.

El Camino Real hit Cleveland with a five-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cavaliers lost 12-2 to the Royals.

Cleveland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Nutt, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Jessica Van Zyl was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

El Camino Real hit Taft with a nine-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Toreadors came up short against the Royals, falling 16-2.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Taft, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
