Softball Recap: Hope Christian Comes Up Short

Hope Christian fell victim to St. Michael and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 16-0 to the Horsemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Horsemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Saturday.

Hope Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Quanz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles.

This is the second loss in a row for Hope Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for St. Michael's, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Hope Christian is taking a road trip to take on Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Michael's, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against McCurdy at 4:00 p.m. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something the Horsemen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
