Football Recap: Herkimer Comes Up Short

Herkimer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 68-14 defeat at the hands of the Dolgeville Blue Devils. If the Magicians were looking for revenge after losing 68-22 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Herkimer's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Dolgeville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

While Herkimer had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
