Football Recap: Herkimer Takes a Loss

Herkimer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Dolgeville Blue Devils and fell 68-14. While losing is never fun, the Magicians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 438th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 120th).

Herkimer's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Dolgeville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

As of now, neither Herkimer nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
