Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Faith Christian Academy extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Jaxon Howard. The Faith Christian Academy Conquerors came out on top against the Goldsboro HomeSchool Heat by a score of 58-50 on Monday thanks in part to Howard, who went 8 of 19 en route to 28 points along with six assists and six rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Ben Reese, who posted 15 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Faith Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.5 points. As for Goldsboro HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian Academy will host Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Goldsboro HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Pitt County P at 4:00 p.m.
