Polson waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ronan Chiefs, sneaking past 62-60. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 44-32 win the Chiefs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Polson's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Ronan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Polson will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on February 13th. Ronan has already played their next contest (against Columbia Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
