Soccer Recap: Madison Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elkmont on Friday, Madison Academy came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 8-1 to the St. John Paul II Falcons on Tuesday. Madison Academy haven't had much luck with St. John Paul II recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Madison Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for St. John Paul II, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1-2.

Madison Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. John Paul II, they will be playing at home against Haleyville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
