Soccer Recap: Kearsley Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Kearsley lost against Goodrich back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hornets fell just short of the Martians by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Kearsley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Goodrich are ranked 53rd).

Kearsley's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7. As for Goodrich, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2-1.

Kearsley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Brandon on the 8th. As for Goodrich, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Powers Catholic on the 8th.
