Lytle hasn't had much luck against Hondo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lytle Pirates will welcome the Hondo Owls at 6:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Hondo earned a 3-1 win over Natalia on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Lytle's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Hondo, they pushed their record up to 27-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
