Lytle hasn't had much luck against Hondo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lytle Pirates will welcome the Hondo Owls at 6:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Hondo earned a 3-1 win over Natalia on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Hondo's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Lexi Gauna, who had 17 digs, and Analee (Aj) Gutierrez, who had 32 digs, seven kills, and three aces. That's the most aces Gutierrez has posted since back in September.
Lytle's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Hondo, they pushed their record up to 27-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
