Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask KIPP San Jose Collegiate). They came out on top against the ACE Charter Cheetahs by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolfpack needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

They hit ACE Charter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sebastian Gutierrez, Gabriel Herrera, Martell Nguyen, and Jayden Hernandez.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for ACE Charter, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP San Jose Collegiate will venture away from home to take on Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for ACE Charter, they will square off against KIPP Navigate College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
