Softball Recap: Penquis Valley Comes Up Short

Penquis Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Central Red Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly ten runs.

Rylee Heal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Penquis Valley's record now sits at 0-3. As for Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penquis Valley will welcome Piscataquis at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
