Independence has gone a perfect 3-0 against Chaparral recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Independence Patriots will square off against the Chaparral Firebirds at 2:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Independence is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Ironwood by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chaparral, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Flowing Wells 2-1 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Firebirds in their matchups with the Caballeros: they've now won three in a row.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Chaparral, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
