Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). They had just enough and edged out the Keller Central Chargers 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in January.

Northwest pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. As for Keller Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Northwest and Keller Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Northwest (ranked 270th) will meet Southlake Carroll (ranked 51st) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Keller Central will challenge Bell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 277 places (383 vs. 106).
