Volleyball Recap: Palm Valley Takes a Loss

Palm Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Indian Springs COYOTES.

While Palm Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Indian Springs work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 28-26, 25-13.

Alex Ratner paced Palm Valley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Ratner got some help from Evan Wang and his 11 assists. Finally, Matteo Lam kept Palm Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Palm Valley now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Indian Springs, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.

Coming up, Palm Valley will venture away from home to challenge Public Safety Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indian Springs, they will host Jurupa Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
