Basketball Recap: New Egypt's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

New Egypt had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Academy Charter with a sharp 66-40 win on Thursday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Academy Charter, too.

The victory got New Egypt back to even at 1-1. As for Academy Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

New Egypt will head out on the road to challenge West Windsor-Plainsboro South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Academy Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Noor-Ul-Iman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
