Volleyball Recap: Samantha Agerholm Key Part of Team Effort in Crusaders Win

After losing to Clinton the last time they met, Racine Lutheran decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 2-1.

Racine Lutheran's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samantha Agerholm, who had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave Agerholm a new career-high. Sophia Schatzman was another key player, getting ten digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Racine Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clinton only served five.

Racine Lutheran now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-17.

Racine Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against The Prairie School on the 14th. As for Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Big Foot on the 14th.
