Basketball Recap: Zeigler-Royalton Takes a Loss

Zeigler-Royalton lost against Vienna back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes were outmatched by the Vienna Eagles and fell 77-28. The Tornadoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-16.

Lucas Rogers was Zeigler-Royalton's leading scorer, having posted six points. Jimmy Gaddis held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Zeigler-Royalton and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Vienna, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.

Zeigler-Royalton has already played their next contest, a 62-44 loss against Thompsonville on the 29th. As for Vienna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-53 defeat against Meridian on the 28th.
