Celeste won the last time they faced Blue Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils skirted past the Tigers 10-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Mya Mainord and Morgan Nickell did most of the damage at the plate: Mainord went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Nickell went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Mainord has posted since back in April of 2025. Ollie Haakantu also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Celeste hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive matchups.

Celeste's record is now 5-1. As for Blue Ridge, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Celeste will be taking part in a tournament against Lone Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blue Ridge, they are taking a road trip to face off against Prairiland at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
