Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Concord

The Heritage Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Concord Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Heritage's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Freedom 1-0. The victory continues a trend for Heritage in their matchups with Freedom: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, neither Concord nor College Park could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Concord's draw gives them a new season record of 2-2-2. As for Heritage, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Heritage came out on top in a nail-biter against Concord when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
