Volleyball Recap: Webster Groves Comes Up Short

Webster Groves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Parkway South Patriots. The Statesmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.

Webster Groves' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Parkway South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Webster Groves will head out on the road to square off against St. Dominic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkway South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Brothers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
