Boca Raton is 6-1 against Suncoast since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Boca Raton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
Boca Raton's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Olympic Heights 15-0. The Bobcats have beaten the Lions the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

Emily Falkowitz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
In other batting news, Sofia Garagozzo and Cameron Lucas did most of the damage at the plate: Garagozzo scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2, while Lucas went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Kate Ivanik was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Boca Raton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Suncoast was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Jupiter, falling 16-0.
Boca Raton's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Suncoast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Suncoast's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Boca Raton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. It's a different story for Suncoast, though, as they've only averaged .290. Will they be able to contain Boca Raton's hitters?
Everything went Boca Raton's way against Suncoast when the teams last played back in March, as Boca Raton made off with a 14-1 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
