Volleyball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Bear River Bears.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 23-25, 25-17.

Bear River found their leader in sophomore Kailyn Rice, who had 18 digs and eight aces.

East's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Olympus on the 19th. As for Bear River, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Juan Diego Catholic on the 19th.
