Salisbury came tearing into Friday's contest with 15 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 97-36 win over the South Davidson Wildcats. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 33 points or more this season.

Myles Smith was his usual excellent self, putting up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Cherry, who posted 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why South Davidson lost, don't look at Trent Duffy. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-6 en route to 11 points and six rebounds. Duffy has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last eight times he's played.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.6 points over those games. As for South Davidson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Salisbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 100-38 win against East Davidson on the 4th. As for South Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-26 loss against Thomasville on the 4th.
