Basketball Recap: Sutherlin Takes a Loss

Sutherlin suffered their closest loss since December 26, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Douglas Trojans by a score of 42-39. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 43-36.

Sutherlin's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Douglas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sutherlin will welcome Coquille at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Umpqua at 7:00 p.m.
