Recap: Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans vs. Mendocino Cardinals
The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 56-48 win over Mendocino. For Rio Lindo Adventist, this counts as revenge for the 47-32 loss Mendocino walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Rio Lindo Adventist's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Campbell, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Jhordany Barcenas was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds.
Rio Lindo Adventist's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Mendocino, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rio Lindo Adventist will challenge North Bay Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mendocino's road trip will continue as they head out to face Anderson Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
