Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horseheads). They breezed past the Binghamton Patriots to the tune of 60-14 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Raiders in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.

Horseheads' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-3. As for Binghamton, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Horseheads will face off against Owego Free Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The River Hawks' defense has only allowed 7.9 points per game this season, so the Blue Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Binghamton, they will square off against Elmira/Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Express have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
