Volleyball Game Preview: Arroyo Valley Hawks vs. Bloomington Bruins

The Arroyo Valley Hawks will challenge the Bloomington Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Arroyo Valley is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Rialto, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Bloomington suffered their biggest loss since March 1st on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Fontana. The shutout was out of character for the Bruins seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fontana scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Arroyo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bloomington, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
