Basketball Recap: Rocksprings Angoras vs. Pearsall Mavericks
Rocksprings saw some tournament action on Thursday. They had to suffer through an 87-29 loss at the hands of the Pearsall Mavericks.
Ayden Rodriguez had an outrageously good game for Pearsall as he shot 65% from the field on his way to 32 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Those 32 points gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Rodriguez, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 15 points and eight steals.
Rocksprings' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pearsall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
