Valley Christian extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 19-8. They blew past the Thatcher Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Sydney Simon paced Valley Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. Simon got some help from Ansley Venkatesh and her 35 assists. Venkatesh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

As for Thatcher, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 15th.

When it comes to explaining why Thatcher lost, don't look at Tessa Bryce. Despite the final result, she had five digs and two aces. Those aces marked the first that Bryce has served this season.

Looking ahead, Valley Christian will head out to take on Rancho Bernardo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Thatcher, they will be playing at home against Andrada Polytechnic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
