Softball Recap: Upper Cape Cod RVT Takes a Loss

After flying high against Nauset Regional last Monday, Upper Cape Cod RVT came back down to earth. The Rams lost 16-4 to the Wareham Vikings on Monday. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Upper Cape Cod RVT saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Meadow Diede (Captain), who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Upper Cape Cod RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wareham, their record is now 2-3.

Looking ahead, Wareham is taking a road trip to face off against Mashpee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Cape Cod RVT will be paying especially close attention to the Vikings' game: after the Vikings face off against the Falcons, they'll take on Upper Cape Cod RVT again at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
