Basketball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-32 to East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Oswald out in front who on his way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. The dominant performance gave Oswald a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Wennihan, who made all 7 shots he took for 16 points.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.
