Basketball Recap: Nease Comes Up Short

Nease was the 51-50 winner over Impact Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Nease Panthers had to suffer through a 71-37 loss at the hands of the Impact Christian Academy Lions. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Nease still got an impressive performance from Langston Hackworth, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Lindsay, who had seven points.

Nease's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Impact Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Nease will take on Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Impact Christian Academy, they will square off against North Florida Educational Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Impact Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
