Volleyball Recap: Las Lomas Find Success

Las Lomas won the last time they faced Miramonte and things went their way on Saturday too. The Las Lomas Knights came out on top against the Miramonte Matadors by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Las Lomas was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14.

Asher Kemp paced Las Lomas' offense, picking up five kills. Kemp got some help from Tate Thompson and his 13 assists. Mattias Radke and Zachary Wood kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Las Lomas' victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Miramonte, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Las Lomas has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Freedom on the 8th. As for Miramonte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bishop O'Dowd on the 8th.
